The Details

This camp is for Ages 8-14 yrs. It will be guided by professional baseball players that played right here in Calhoun and Bay county. Includes a T-shirt and autographs from the pros. Campers will learn the fundamentals of baseball, including hitting, fielding, pitching, catching, and base running.

We are thrilled to host our baseball camps for the youth. They are indeed the future of Blountstown Baseball and the surrounding communities. It's an honor to have your youth join us for this camp!

FAQ's

What's the cost?

Each camper is $50. If you have multiple children of your own that are attending, each additional sibling is $40. You register here and pay when you arrive at the camp.

How Long Is The Camp?

This one-day camp starts at 10:00 AM and ends at 2:00 PM. Please arrange to pick up your child at 2:00 PM.

What's the date and time of the Camp?

Saturday, January 18th. 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

What equipment & clothing should my child bring?

They will need a baseball glove, hat, cleats, and a water bottle. BRING TENNIS SHOES AND CLEATS: If you don’t have cleats, bring tennis shoes. No cleats will be allowed inside the training facility but will be used outside on the diamonds by the facility. Baseball pants work great, but they’ll be most comfortable in athletic shorts. Baseball bats will be provided, but they are welcome to bring and use their own.

We provide a camp t-shirt.

Note: Be sure to prep for any cold weather conditions.

CATCHERS:

If your child is a catcher, be sure they bring their catcher's gear.

Who will be at the camp?

We plan on having 75+ children at the camp. There will be about one adult per 10 campers that will be coaching and guiding. Multiple coaches & players from Blountstown high school will be helping run the skills training and drills.

What's the age range that can attend?

Ages 8-14 years old are allowed to attend.

Are children outside Blountstown school boundaries allowed to attend?

Yes! This baseball camp is for anyone 8-14 yrs old and wants to learn and improve their baseball skills. We plan to have campers from Calhoun, Liberty, Jackson, Gulf, Franklin, Bay, Gadsden, and Leon counties

What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay with Venmo or Cash, but we do NOT accept checks. It's $50 per camper. You register here and if you are paying with Venmo, you can do that at the time of registration. All other payments can be paid at the camp when you arrive.

What if the weather is bad?

If we have bad weather, the camp will still happen but we will use our backup facility at Blountstown High School Gym. We will announce the address change to all parents/guardians if we change locations due to weather.
